Children’s Villages – 15 villages

Whole children's villages! If you live in an orphanage you grow up living, thinking and feeling like an orphan. Every child needs a home. We Build small homes filled with family units of 10-15 children and a unit caring Mother, dorms for our older teens, and surrounding agricultural fields, gardens, and livestock are set in place so that our kids learn all they need to know to be fully integrated into normal community-life when they grow up.

Education – 280 students currently

Education is a constant struggle in Southern Sudan, as the nation continues to recover from the decades of civil war that ravished its infrastructure. Over 150 students are currently enrolled studying in Nursery-P3 (Third grade). Our school is registered and accredited by the local education authorities.

Development

Development that is sustainable must come from the inside out through a partnership where hearts and hands unite. It cannot simply be imposed by a good program that seeks to bring change from the outside in. This may bring change, but often it only lasts as long as the programme is there promoting it.
